Russian Borei-class SSBN to be built by 2020

Yup, Russia has confirmed they will build 8 SSBN and they will remain in service until 2050.

This will not be a cancelled project as Russia wants to replace the Delta- and Typhoon-class subs.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the ones in the Pacific Fleet lurking in the Bearing Straight.

They will cut everywhere (in other Ministry) to have the money available for the Borei-class SSBN.

The Borei is already under sea trials. This was posted here months ago.[
Just goes to show you that nobody is really telling the truth. Nobody or No nation has really learned a thing. All the Governments are actually pretty stupid if you ask me.

Ryan, did you read the article?

I did mention that 3 have already been commissioned and that 5 more are expected by 2020. The article is also about hoe the Borei-class will remain in service until 2050.
