In the finest tradition of military conditioning, a Russian military commander has organized a parade in which the soldiers under his command will walk by saluting him. "It's in recognition of my obvious superiority over the unthinking drones who Moscow has provided me ownership of," the commander said, "I deserve more salutes." When asked about his future plans, the commander said that he hoped to one day travel across Europe, being saluted in as many countries as possible. "For centuries, the British conquered countries with the cunning placement of flags. I plan to conquer men with the cunning use of salutes."
NATO officials did not immediately respond to a request for comment. It's believed NATO commanders may themselves be too busy saluting one another to answer the request.
