The Russian fleet seeks to be having real problems lately. Their one aircraft carrier is (purportedly) being decommissioned, Black Sea fleet boats are having major issues and subs are leaking fuel.

I don’t think that Vladimir Vladimirovich understands how unprepared his navy is for a major escalation.
