Just looked up the price of a bottle of talisker 10 in the USA.
Costs $90
In the UK it's $40 (converted from pounds)

Damn that's pricey, no wonder you're all mad on bourbon it's way cheaper.
How much would you guys expect to pay for a pint of draught beer in the pub over there?

Wildly depends. Anywhere from 4 to 9 dollars. Depends on locations, state, type of place like family oriented, a 'dive bar', name brand places like Bdubs or D&B, or theme parks will charge you 20$ for one beer, a lot of times you're just paying for the atmosphere and when you're not it's cheaper.

Whats bourbon or rye cost over there once its shipped in (Im sure you have domestic production but most bourbon should be from the US afaik)
Very little bourbon/rye is produced domestically. I've had some rye whisky made locally and it's alright. I've had good US bourbon and it IS drinkable, but I'd much rather have a scotch.
Bottle of jack daniels would set me back $27
Woodford reserve $37
