- In every business I tried, I can see now, it wasn't me that failed. Something was missing. Even if I'd known what it was, there's nothing I could have done about it because you can't create this thing. And it makes all the difference in the world between success and failure.

If it's bots, they're not having much success since the site continues to be responsive.
My guess would be that it's real traffic. Lots of people in India and Pakistan, y'know...

Through this whole crisis. Even when the site turned to DEFCON 4 most ever online was just under 500. This isn't normal even for a crisis or for nothing physically occurring right now.
But who knows. Maybe? Let's see what the higher ups say.

At least the site isn't being bogged down.
It’s quite slow reloading.
Has been for days ever since alert change. Even before the abnormal spike in viewers today.
But traffic back to normal now though. Just under 300. Where it usually has been sitting since the crisis durring normal times without breaking major news or actions being taken by either side.
Ok better now. My statement above was based on performance a very short while back
That part. It is eradic. Even when there is less than 150 people on it will occur a slow down. Real no rym or reason to it...

I question too if they are bots, although registered users have been more active, posts have skyrocketed, but user registrations have stayed about the same.
I presume most of it isn't bots, but its hard to tell. The lack of slowdown tells me that they aren't really sticking around too long.

I think the surge in users during that point was genuine, considering the conflicting reports that it wasn't just small arms fire but artillery being used.
