Some of “The Acolyte” stars spoke out after learning the controversial show wasn’t renewed for a second season.

Good riddance, but not necessarily for the homosexual content. As an aside, I don’t want any explicit or Public display of affection in any of my SciFi).

It was just terrible.

I watched two episodes and then gave up on it. I'm just really tired of all these shows pushing an alternate lifestyle on me.

I just was to see pew pew and zoom zoom! I don’t want ANY sex or private relationship moments. They don’t fit in, they ruin the pacing and the reduce the time for “watch out, <vroom vroom pew pew pew> what the frak was that? I don’t know but it’s dead now!” moments.

My son is a big Star Wars fan and even he only watched 2 episodes. Said it was terrible!

Seriously it only a shock because Star Wars in 1977 (along with the fantastic 2001) changed expectations of SciF and moved it main stream. (I a Star Trek fan but at the time you could only watch the cartoons)

The follow ons were good, then, then George took a well-deserved payday and like many businesses without the driving force behind them, it turned to shit.
