Some of the most reasonable people I know or have met,are devout Muslims. Hate for no one, show their faith daily and do a lot of good in the community.

As a Christian, it pains me to see how many of us are hypocritical, self righteous and very quick to judge/condemn others.

I found that some new age Christians were just as bad and tasteless when they turned up after the event. Has now made me more cognisant of Buddhism.

Well that’s a given, never mind that it is pointless. It diametrically goes against what the scriptures illustrate on how we should interact with others of different faiths.
That and it is only done for carnal reasons to antagonize others.

Yes confront oppression. But do it in a open handed and open heart manner.
If violence is being used against a weaker person or yourself then yes I do believe it is correct to respond in kind.

But do not use the question of faith alone to resort to violence or insult.

If we know that a certain group will be very upset if we burn a copy of their Scriptures, but go ahead and do it anyway and then get ticked off when they react badly....
Either someone needed the reaction or wanted the reaction......or lacks a fundamental understanding of cause and effect.
