This was 5 years ago, a Russian plane crash. But with tensions as high as they are, do you think we could hear something about this happening today or tommorow or any time in the future, or do you think they will try and keep i covered up? I mean this completely is off topic but just something to think about.

I'm not sure I really understand the question.
As for tensions... let's just say they've been higher than they've been in say the last oh... ten to fifteen years?

Heck, a russian airplane auguring in happens so regularly it's not even news worthy. Its like a design feature of russian airplanes. The AN-24 series (NATO: Coke, Clank, Curl) is one of the safer(?) russian light transports, and the accident rate on those things makes a Baghdad taxi ride look like an immortality treatment. As to the veracity of the russian media, except for about 15 minutes in 1992, the russian media is wholly a propaganda vector, totally controlled by the state and owned by putin's oligarch cronies. 58 journalists have been murdered in recent years, and countless others have vanished into lubinyanskya, or where ever they ship dissidents to these days. Nothing reported by the russian media, or from russian sources can be viewed as remotely accurate. The KGB and the GRU are masters of disinformation, all the way back. Look at the way the 'anti-nuclear' movement was manipulated from moscow all through the '70's and 80's. Recall also ol' uncle Vlad's education was at the 'U of KGB', and 'pravda' translates as 'official truth'.

Now would somebody please tell me to shut the hell up! ;) and go muck out the henhouse...

Like do u think if a major happening like a terrorist attack or something took place they would let it go public? Or do u think they would suppress it so they would look like big ol bad untouched russia, that can take on anything.
