I remember when skykings were a huge thing on this site a year or two ago. Now they are so common its no longer unnatural to hear them

Not anymore, Skykings have dropped towards the end of last year. Now it's quite rare to hear them.

My understanding is that SKYKING is a general callsign for any SIOP-related military asset (which there are plenty of) and hearing the occasional one is nothing out of the ordinary. It's only alarming when they're coming in heavy, like during the incident last March.

The point i was making was that they were not as big a deal as they were.

Last year, we were worried because there were, if I recall, around 100 3x - 4x Skykings during the March event. 1x and 2x Skykings are almost always a low priority test, whereas 3x - 4x Skykings are high priority messages and most likely, not a test.

Recently, I don't believe so. But there certainly were about a year ago, mid-March.

New Broadcast on 4724 USB now ... can't understand the callsigns - it was for a specific station, not an "all stations call"

Anyone know what's going up with 8992? Like it's being jammed or something. I've seen this before, but never really knew what it was.

If it's a solid bar signal, then what I've heard is that is a British over-the-horizon radar doing a scan. (from what I've been told in the WebSDR chatbox)

Whatever it is, it's annoying and still happening. Odds are it's just gay, devil worshipping, space alien, lizard people from the illuminati, using mind control and fluoride to elect Hilary Clinton ....

Jokes aside, that noise is about as tolerable as listening to a dental drill, to the background noise of a screaming infant.

Hillary Clinton for Reptilian Space Overlord 2016.
