No , but the way people post and think of it is a conspiracy theory. Jade helm is a Special Task Force Joint Ops drill, it has no influence of Martial law.

Just stop...Stop. I'm not trying to be a dick here but some of you people are insane. How hard is it for you to google US Military Training in the USA? Like is it tyrannical for A COUNTRIES OWN MILITARY TO TRAIN ON THEIR OWN SOIL NOT ON PRIVATE PROPERTY? Jesus most of you can't even back up your shit. You just go off of what some website says. Everyone freaks out over a USMC Lav on the highway near Camp Pendleton which has been happening for years. Endless they are setting up actual checkpoints on roads/interstates then shut the fuck up. There seems to be always something about to happen but then that something never actually happens. Then once someones disagrees or has a disagreeing statement against a "OMERG SO TYRANNICAL PO-LICE" everyone jumps on that guy calling him a shill or a sheep.

That's something I'm not sure of myself...perhaps someone here with military experience can enlighten us. I must say I've never heard of it myself, at least not on this scale. However, I have a friend out in NM who is completely unconcerned by this, so that encourages me. He's a pretty smart guy.

Conspiracy theories...tricky ground, very tricky ground. The problem with them is they take root in the minds of those who "want to believe". Seems to work sort of like religion from what I've observed. If you have preconceived notions about a subject and then you hear/read of a theory that supports those notions, naturally you're going to buy into it. It's how politicians convince people they're good for something. There are a lot of people out there who hate our president, so when they see a story claiming that he's helping usher in the NWO or is going to unleash some Islamic army inside US borders, they're more inclined to believe it.

Now, take the Walmart closings from last week. I work for them (for the moment). I hate the job and am trying frantically to escape. Not because I fear some faceless Illuminati army is going to burst out of the back room some evening while I'm answering the phone there, but because I'm simply trying to improve my work situation. But I know from extensive experience they are indeed as deceptive, greedy, and as incompetent as any government agency and all they care about at this point is separating the general public from their money as much as possible, and paying people like me as little as possible. Also, they've played a big part in fostering the idiot culture that's running rampant in this country. It's embarrassing. So when this story popped up last week, I really had to throw my feelings out the window and try to be as objective as I could, because everything I post on the subject is colored by my own perceptions.

Including this post. But hey, I don't sugar coat things.

So when we run into a "story" it's important to remember even the person posting it may genuinely believe it. But if we're to uphold the standards of DWS, we gotta go the extra mile and make sure of our facts, and this means setting aside our own notions on a given subject. Not easy to do, but it will pay off...and it's a good exercise for our minds!

Great post. I guess I could have googled if the USA has ran any drills like this on are home soil but my mind set lately is (since I have found and follow this site) I trust more info I come across over here (from the users and the staff at DWS) than Google or any other web site. If we all keep the foil in the kitchen were it belongs and don't go running up and down the streets playing the sky is falling,maybe together we can all stay warned for the right reasons.

The problem with all of these drills, is that they're for events that will never happen. IS/AQ/Random Muslim terrorist cell aren't going to be car bombing, dirty bombing, or even photo bombing anything, but yet our military is in full swing as if this is Fallujah. And some people have no problem with that, why, I don't know? We were never allowed to train on our own land, in the national guard we always had problems with that and had to get permission with the local civil authorities before ANYTHING can be done. Our laws call for this, otherwise you get a military dictatorship, which some people would be glad to see. Why, I don't know.

To dismiss things you don't like as "conspiracy theory" or lump it in with "lizard people" is intellectually dishonest and dismissive. Dismissive statements are easily dismissed as void of content or argument, and are thus ignored. Is there a lot of fear mongering in play? Sure is. Is the Army's excuse for Jade Helm lacking a lot of valid explanations? It sure is. Does questioning your government make you a "tin foil hat wearer"? Nope, it means you're smart enough to see through the BS that known liars dish out based on their track record. Let's not forget, people didn't flee Germany after hearing these "conspiracy theories" about Hitler, and people going missing without a trace. "You conspiracy theorist, Hitler took our guns to keep us safe. You conspiracy theorist, Hitler's putting people behind caged off ghettos to protect them. You conspiracy theorist, people aren't being abducted by the government, they've all taken long vacations. You conspiracy theorist...." Eventually those people found out the hard way that these weren't wild eyed conspiracy theories. Often times the RUMINT or Hajinet are more accurate than the governments prepared statements. Bear in mind that history may not always repeat, but it sure does rhyme. And for some folks to ignore the obvious and call other people morons is really a funny thing to watch.

What will come out of JH? We'll find out soon enough. If you are to piece together an intelligence picture, you can't ignore the information you don't like. I know some of you think that "duh gubmint" would never lie to you, or would ever seize your property without due process, or would ever plot against you for their own sake, or would ever do anything to harm you and ALWAYS has your best interests in mind. However, every government has hurt the people they were charged with protecting, and ours is no exception. Any time they want to put troops on the streets and tell you not to ask questions, you should be very concerned. It may be the reason why succeeding generations look back at us with disdain because we didn't act to save this crumbling Republic. As with all things, vet as best you can, and keep in mind that just because a house thief is dressed as the power guy and says that he needs to get into your house, doesn't mean that he's actually a guy from the power company investigating a power outage. In other words, don't believe everything a guy in a uniform tells you.

I've already said this before JH 15 is not conspiracy, its a large scale military Training exercise to flex the Muscles of the United States as Russia is flexing its muscles with the thousands of men it is mobilizing. So, Nuclear, JH 15 is not Conspiracy, its what people are posting inside the JH 15 topics is the reason they are locking them. People think, "oh no they are preparing for war", or something like that. They go into conspiracy in JH 15 topic zones, people go to far away from the facts and then the admins lock it down.

JadeHelm 15 is NOT Conspiracy but is military Drills, everyone should know that so they stop with the conspiracy theories.
