The Summit

So now that it is over, good, bad or indifferent, was it worth it? Do you all think any good will come from it?
I for one hope so. Would be nice to take one off the list of crazies to watch....

We are going to publish our own analysis of the summit, but from what I saw it was a first step in a long road. Nothing was really promised (except for a halt to war games. NK was already dismantling the rocket engine test site, iirc).

Despite claims that the talks "legitimized" North Korea, I feel it is right to always keep the door of communication open.

We'll see what the coming negotiations bring.

All in all, a positive first step.

Not everything. Not an end to sanctions. Not an end to the war. The only thing they got was a photo op with the US president and and end to the war games.
