The World’s First 3D Printed Cruise Missile

We've got a titanium 3D printer at the uni (they won't let us use it though cuz it's too expensive lmao)
Relatively common stuff in engineering labs now, not surprised it's being used more widely in industry.
Cool stuff.

When I worked in material engineering we used a high pressure water cutter for titanium and associated metals, also for ceramics. Heatless cutting with nil distortion from high pressure, I mean really high pressure, water.

Yeah seen those in action. Good stuff.

I just got a completely 3D printed titanium 9mm cal. pistol suppressor.

My rifle can is titanium and full of about 12 baffles and is About 8” long and my 5.7 and below pistol can is 5.5 inches and full of bales and weights about 6z for comparison.

My new 3D Printed can is 4” Long 2” diameter and weight just 2.1z !! It is completely sealed and has no serviceable parts, you just soak and rinse if absolutely required as it is self cleaning. It’s rated for up to 357 Magnum and 38 super full auto. Mostly though I’m using it on a 32 auto Beretta 30x around the farm. It just so much fun. I’m amazed that it could be printed an hold up.

Ironically in the UK the police don't care about suppressors, if you've got a firearms/shotgun certificate. You don't even need to tell the police you've bought one. Means they get less callouts from a nervous public

Seen a 12 gauge suppressor once on a friend's gun. Was completely bloody pointless, you still needed ear defenders :ROFLMAO:
