Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is disputing a report that President Trump shared highly classified information with Russian government officials during an Oval Office meeting last week.

"During President Trump's meeting with Foreign Minister Lavrov, a broad range of subjects were discussed among which were common efforts and threats regarding counter-terrorism," Tillerson told reporters at the White House Monday evening. "During that exchange the nature of specific threats were discussed, but they did not discuss sources, methods or military operations."

National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster attended the meeting and also pushed back against the reports of Trump's comments to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak.

"The president and the foreign minister reviewed common threats from terrorist organizations to include threats to aviation," McMaster said in a statement. "At no time were any intelligence sources or methods discussed and no military operations were disclosed that were not already known publicly."

I find it very suspicious that the "person" that supposedly leaked the information wanted their name to be anonymous since there was only at most a handful of people in the room during the meeting, if this was the case that it did happen, there's no reason to go anonymous. They would know there would be a subsequent investigation and they would definitely lose their job.

I do find it very interesting though as to why the president was on a need to know basis for the information supposedly given to the Russians. It doesn't really make much sense.

From everything I've seen, this whole charade at the Washington Post is fake again.

Well, Trump did it again! Threw all of his people under the bus by tweeting that he did it and that he has every right to disclose highly classified information if he feels like it. In any other administration there would be mass resignations today but not this one as they all continually keep drinking the same koolaide. Sad!!!!
