I noticed over the last two weeks at least two separate threads that were deleted. One of which was today originally created by the user Peace. Personally I think it would be honorable and transparent to at least have a short explanation in the to the forum users as to why a certain thread was deleted.

All members get a notification as to why something of theirs was deleted. In past two weeks only 2 threads where deleted because of the discussion of conspiracies or theories without any evidence or factual sources.

If the member your talking about has a problem then they can contact staff privately.

DWS & particularly the director are die hard free speech enthusiast/believer. But board rules are clear, no discussing conspiracies or boasting wild assumptions as facts without sources.

Peace's thread about the US Govt preparing for a coup d'etat was deleted due to it being considered false/conspiracy.
If Peace had respectable sources stating that the US Govt is planning for mass arrests of so-called "MAGA Extremists" or "Election Deniers" (Peace's wording verbatim ) then posting that thread would have been well within the boundaries of the guidelines and would be left up (so long as it stayed civil).
The fact is, Peace provided zero evidence and when making claims of that magnitude and that far out there you just can't presume that it's correct. Evidence and sources are needed.
