Great Britain has given the green light for Ukraine to use British weapons for strikes inside Russia, including the long-range Storm Shadow missiles, British Foreign Minister David Cameron announced

The US was previously hesitant to send long-range missiles (ATACMS) to Ukraine due to limited stockpiles. However, increased production has eased those concerns.
The Pentagon's acquisition chief confirmed a "surge" in missile production, with "dozens" being delivered every few months for the rest of the year. “There are a lot of ATACMS coming off that line.”

Moscow's forces are already reacting, and the Russian military has claimed to have downed several missiles aimed at Crimea. As with previous Western weapons systems, the ATACMS effect will likely tail off as Russian troops adapt to their use.
"As we know, the Russians are able to adapt in a very short period of time," Ivan Stupak, a former officer in the Security Service of Ukraine and now an adviser to the Ukrainian parliament's national security, defense and intelligence committee, told Newsweek.
"I think we have up to two months to eliminate as many Russian war objects as is possible before the Russians will adapt," Stupak added.

Over 100 Russian troops killed in ATACMS strike, footage shows

“At least one ATACMS directly hit a group of over 100 Russian soldiers, showering them with hundreds of M74 APAM bomblets,” the OSINTtechnical reported, sharing an image of a cluster of soldiers gathered in the area before the strikes.

* both the US and Russia use cluster bombs and are not signatories of any treaty outlawing them.

Russian GPS jamming has significantly reduced the effectiveness of Ukrainian GPS guided munitions.

The USAF has announced a contract to equip Ukrainian JDAM-ERs with Home-on GPS Jam seekers.

This should enable Ukrainian Air Force strike aircraft to target Russian GPS jammers near the front, allowing other GPS guided munitions like GMLRS and 155mm Excalibur to hit targets.

Recent statements by France’s president and Britain’s foreign secretary about the war in Ukraine are “dangerous” and will deepen international tension around the conflict, the Kremlin’s spokesman said Friday.
French President Emmanuel Macron, in an interview published Thursday, repeated an earlier comment that he doesn’t exclude sending troops to Ukraine. U.K. Foreign Secretary David Cameron, meanwhile, said during a visit to Kyiv the same day that Ukraine will be able to use British long-range weapons to strike targets inside Russia — a possibility that some other NATO countries providing weapons have balked at.

⚡️Russia’s Anti-Satellite Nuke Could Leave Lower Orbit Unusable, Test Vehicle May Already Be Deployed:
Asenior U.S. government official has indicated that Russia already has some kind of clandestine testbed in space as part of its development of a nuclear-armed on-orbit anti-satellite weapon. This comes just days after another official warned Congress that this "indiscriminate" weapon, details about which first emerged publicly earlier this year, could be capable of rendering low Earth orbit completely unusable for a prolonged period of time.
Mallory Stewart, Assistant Secretary of State for Arms Control, Deterrence, and Stability, discussed Russia’s nuclear anti-satellite weapon developments in new detail today in a fireside chat that the Center for Strategic and International Studies think tank in Washington, D.C., hosted.
"The United States is extremely concerned that Russia may be considering the incorporation of nuclear weapons into its counterspace programs based on information we deem credible," Stewart said. "The United States has been aware of Russia's pursuit of this sort of capability dating back years, but only recently have we been able to make a more precise assessment of their progress."
Stewart stressed at multiple times during the conversation that the U.S. government has not assessed that Russia has "deployed" this capability in any way, and that American officials are actively trying to discourage that from happening.

However, the Assistant Secretary of State did indicate that something is in space now as part of the development of this new nuclear anti-satellite weapon.

"Russia has publicly claimed that their satellite is for scientific purposes," Stewart said "However, the orbit is in a region not used by any other spacecraft. That in itself was somewhat unusual. And the orbit is a region of higher radiation than normal, lower earth orbits, but not high enough of a radiation environment to allow accelerated testing of electronics as Russia has described the purpose to be."

Russian foreign ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova told a briefing on Friday that the Crimean bridge, which links Russia with the peninsula illegally annexed by Moscow since 2014, was "again under attack."
U.S. officials said last month that Kyiv had started using ATACMS missiles for the first time on a Russian military airfield in Crimea, hitting Russian forces in another occupied area.
"We would like to once again warn Washington, London and Brussels that any aggressive actions against Crimea are not only doomed to failure, but will also receive an indestructible blow of retaliation," she said, without specifying further.

Kinda hard to have credibility when they’ve already done it twice.
