President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has enacted the Strategy for De-occupation and Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the City of Sevastopol.
Decree No. 117/2021 of March 24 on enactment of the relevant decision of the National Security and Defense Council was published on the website of the Head of State, Ukrinform reports.
"To approve the Strategy for De-occupation and Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the City of Sevastopol," the document reads.
As noted, the strategy defines a set of diplomatic, military, economic, informational, humanitarian and other measures aimed at restoring the territorial integrity, state sovereignty of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders through the de-occupation and reintegration of Crimea.
The document also identifies priorities for the state to protect human rights and freedoms violated as a result of the temporary occupation of the Crimean Peninsula, as well as the main areas of relevant economic, social, humanitarian, environmental, information, defense and security policy.
In addition, as the President’s Office underscores, the strategy sends a clear signal to the international community that Ukraine is consistent in its actions to restore territorial integrity, violated by the Russian Federation's neglect of its international obligations.
The Cabinet of Ministers is instructed to develop an action plan for the implementation of the strategy, on the basis of which the relevant government bodies will prepare and implement measures to ensure the de-occupation and reintegration of the peninsula.
The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine approved the Strategy for De-occupation and Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the City of Sevastopol on March 11.

Okay, I found it on the Ukraine President's website.

I read over the translation, but not every single word. I didn't see anything directing an over military movement, though there was this paragraph:

79. Ukraine provides special training for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations and law enforcement agencies provided for by the law of Ukraine to carry out their tasks, taking into account the peculiarities of deoccupation and reintegration processes, as well as the experience of Ukrainian citizens who have participated in international peacekeeping operations. and security.
Read into that what you will. But overall doesn't seem like some policy shift toward more aggressive action.

Ukraine informed Turkey about the current state of affairs in the Russian-occupied Crimean peninsula, in particular the illegal militarization of territories, human rights violations, and the demographic situation.
Director of the Second Territorial Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vasyl Zvarych said this in a commentary to Ukrinform following the “quadriga” format consultations that took place in Ankara on March 24.
“We informed the Turkish side about the real situation in the occupied Crimea, in particular about the increase in the number of Russian occupation troops, human rights violations, and the demographic situation on the peninsula,” Zvarych said.
The meeting participants discussed not only the security of Ukraine but also the security of the entire Black Sea region.
“Our assessments of security threats actually coincide. And this is very important for us as strategic partners, since security in the Black Sea region is our common responsibility as two great maritime states,” Zvarych noted.
According to him, Turkey is ready to take an active part in the Crimean Platform, including in the preparation of the final documents of the summit scheduled for August 23, and in promoting the initiative as a platform for consolidating international efforts to de-occupy Crimea.
As Ukrinform reported, on March 24, Ankara hosted political and security consultations between the national coordinators of the “quadriga” bilateral cooperation format.

Ukraine says four soldiers killed by Russian shelling in eastern Donbass

Ukraine's armed forces said on Friday that four soldiers were killed in shelling by Russian forces in the eastern Donbass region, the highest daily death total since a ceasefire was agreed in July last year.

Ukraine and Russia have traded blame for a spike in violence in the conflict in eastern Ukraine, which Kyiv says has killed 14,000 people since 2014.

A Ukrainian armed forces statement said Russian forces had "once again violated the ceasefire and targeted the positions of Ukrainian defenders with 82-mm mortars, automatic grenade launchers and large-caliber machine guns prohibited by the Minsk agreements near the settlement Shumy in the area North."

It said four servicemen were killed and two injured.

How do you guys feel about all of this? With everything that's going on, it feels like WW3 is about to start or something.

You're just feeling the dice rolling. Anytime something like this happens, there is a chaos factor involved that says, almost anything can happen. It's just a matter of probabilities. The probability of anything major coming out of a Russia/Ukraine fight is low.

Not to minimize it. To the people involved I'm sure at times it does and will feel like WW3.

President Zelensky statement for public on today, after talks with Normandy Format, 10 mins ago:
Four Ukrainian servicemen were killed in Donbas today. I express my sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims.
On my instructions, the Chief of the General Staff of Ukraine immediately flew to the scene for a comprehensive clarification of all the circumstances of the case. The representatives of Ukraine in the Trilateral Contact Group were instructed to initiate an urgent extraordinary meeting of the subgroup's security, as well as to urgently discuss this issue at the level of advisers to the leaders of the Normandy format. In the near future, I will have conversations with all the leaders of the Normandy Four.
Unfortunately, we have seen an increase in escalation since the beginning of 2021. What was so hard and bit by bit rebuilt for almost a year can be destroyed in a second. The aggravation of the situation is especially noticeable against the background of the first months of the ceasefire. Then, for almost the first time during the war, the number of shelling, wounded and killed decreased tenfold. And these are not just statistics. These are the fates of people. And we must not allow the peace process to be thrown back 100 steps.
Further progress in fulfilling all other agreements and resolving the situation in eastern Ukraine is impossible in the sound of gunfire and explosions. In order to hear each other in every sense of the word, a comprehensive and stable silence must reign in the Donbass.
It takes courage to war but the peace needs wisdom.
Ukraine has both. But Ukraine and the entire civilized world give preference to the second option.
Glory to Ukraine!
What is interesting, that the general course of Normandy Format (Germany, Russia, Ukraine and France) right now is generally about complying with Minsk regulations, but in the perspective (accepted Steinmeier's Formula) it's something like: make Ukrainians reform Donbass, give it autonomy and special economy status, amnesty for everyone, etc - which would be devastating defeat for Ukraine and victory for Russia. Ukraine cannot agree with such a course.

According to Ukrainian sources, the Ukrainian Armed Forces deployed additional air defense systems in the Kramatorsk region - in addition to the short-range ones located there, the S-300 PS anti-aircraft missile systems were also deployed.
Bayraktar TB2 drones are also deployed near Kramatorsk, which may be related to seriously strengthened airport security.
Seems legit, to make use of Bayraktar drones you need minimum 200 meters of straight and steady land for take-off and landing, within a radius of 150 kilometers (range of Bayraktar communication) Kramatorsk seems the only place that is able to meet such requirements to reach Lugansk and Donetsk. No wonder they put their best defences there, including best Anti-Air and masses of troops. Would be a shame losing it, especially if there is possibility that Turkish specialists will be manning drone controls.
