Former UN weapons inspector David Albright wrote on X-Net that new satellite images of the Natanz enrichment site show that Iran has removed almost all 24 chillers from the site's two air conditioning buildings over the past week and scattered them inside the protected compound.

David Albright added that the purpose of moving and dispersing the chillers is to make them less vulnerable to future airstrikes at this time, due to their high value, and given the power outages caused by Israeli bombings and the failure of the centrifuges.

David Albright added that some of the chillers are located on helipads, some near water treatment facilities, and others in other parts of the Natanz compound.

Iran could be removing HVAC chillers from the Natanz enrichment site due to "the vulnerability of above-ground utilities servicing the underground facility as easy targets for future airstrikes," or "there is no use for the chillers in the near future as the Natanz site remains disconnected from the power grid and the enrichment plant sustained significant damage from bombing during the 12-Day War.".
