Just wondering if there was an exercise on between USA and Australia. Have just had a lots of fighter jets taking off. Some were F-18s, F-35s and one that looked a bit odd for a F-35 and was wondering if it was an F-22. Had been coming and going for the last couple of days with much more than the normal degree of activity noted. This has been at the Rockhampton airport so I am wondering if there is something going on at Shoalwater Bay training area.

This might be it but not sure, it’s sounded like a coordinated military response of a lot of aircraft spread all over. Place to start anyway
