By handing Ukraine the best situation possible. And I like breitbart's ww3 watch, excuse me? If anything adds toward ww3 it's north Korea helping Russia unopposed. What would these pundits think helping peace would be? Stopping all weapons to Ukraine and calling it a day? They don't want Russia to be in a weak position since they could earn money from a powerful Russia in the future, likely why Musk is keen on warming up to Putin too, a sanction free Russia means more room for western oligarchs to get even richer..

On a slightly different but at least not too dissimilar note, I fully believe the GRU to have infiltrated "peace" organisations a la how the KGB did it in the 80s, this time with a bigger political platform such as Bundnis Sara Wagenknecht, Orban, etc. But also drumming up fear of nuclear weapons in a way that's not too dissimilar of anti-nuclear-plant hysteria. It'd be super good for Russia to try to get people to believe that one of their nukes launched means threads everywhere, because then they could play around unopposed since no one wants threads to have a chance of becoming real at all.

Key point here is if Trump withdrawals this decision UK & France will not.

As with most things US does it first then allies follow like with all other weapon systems. Now that UK an France have okayed it themselves, doesn't matter if Trump pulls the permission for US long range weapons as Ukraine will have two other options still.

Biden Allows Ukraine to Strike Russia With Long-Range U.S. Missiles​

President Joe Biden has authorized the use of powerful, US-provided long-range missiles for Ukraine to strike inside Russia, according to multiple reports.

The Army Tactical Missile Systems, or ATACMS, will likely be used against targets in Russia’s Kursk region, The New York Times first reported on Sunday. Ukraine launched a surprise invasion there in early August.

The policy shift, which comes just weeks before President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration, came after Russia launched a widespread missile and drone attack targeting Ukraine’s power grid on Sunday.

It also comes as North Korea joins the war. US intelligence reported earlier this month that thousands of North Korean troops clad in Russian gear were set to hit the front lines in Kursk, and they have already seen combat against Kyiv’s forces in the region.

The move is a significant shift in US policy.

Most long-range weapons are American made.
