U.S. President Donald Trump says Russia has told the United States that it has removed "most of their people" from Venezuela.

"Russia has informed us that they have removed most of their people from Venezuela," Trump tweeted on June 3 during a state visit to Britain.​

Maduro got the rest of “his” gold out of the country 😏

If a lot of the Venezuelan Gold was relocated out of country it would be interesting to know if it went North East or Far East.

I assumed China had more money invested in Venezuela but no real way to know. I would imagine both nations have put some demands on Maduro in the event of athe socialist failure.

For pretty much the same reasons the US gave up on Crimea and the Donbass.
 
Imagine the international success and political momentum gains if Venezuela throws off the systemic dictatorship in control now.
Venezuela has one of the oldest and traditionally successful governence in all of Sourh and Central America.
If that can be restored without invasion or “a collation of the willing” it will be a huge victory for self governance.
Compair this potential success too Lybia Or Syria.

The United States condemns the killing and torture of Capitan de Corbeta Rafael Acosta Arévalo, a Venezuelan Naval Officer, who died while in the custody of Maduro’s thugs and their Cuban advisers. We express deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.

This is not the first time the Maduro regime has used violence against its political prisoners. We recall clearly the horrifying events of October 8, 2018, when Councilman Fernando Alban was murdered while in regime custody.

This latest act of Maduro’s barbarism must stir us to action. The United States calls on the democracies of the world to join us in condemning this latest violation of human rights and in applying pressure to achieve accountability against the aggressors.
