There is also a lot of talk about shortwave frequency 8992, which is said to have broadcast a "mainsail" message (dunno what that means) and is also broadcasting a "woodpecker" radar signature. Dunno what that means, either.

In a nutshell, people are listening to a USAF radio frequency they often transmit coded messages on.
One of these coded message types is called a 'Skyking'.
People speculate what SKYKING messages are, mostly that they're Nuclear go / no-go codes. But whatever they are, there was a LOT of them during 9/11
SKYKING has been long associated with command post activity-Looking Glass, SAC/Omaha, airborne command post stuff
So, people like us listening to 8992 are listening out for SKYKING messages as a way to potentially gauge how active the USAF is at present.
If Russia was looking like it might cause concern to NATO, we'd expect lots of SKYKING Messages, so in a way, yes this has something to do with Russia, but not completely.
The 'woodpecker' racket was associated with a prototype over the horizon backscatter radar system in the soviet ABM net.
On this frequency, it is probably encrypted comms. A lot of activity on the nets this morning.
But...
Russia has to trot out putin today(monday, and its about 09:00 moscow time right now...) or start hinting he's dead, or stroked out, or how ever he was got rid of-or not. Something's going on there.
the 'Nuclear option' revelations out of russia must have some folks in the command group re-thinking...
Israeli elections/regime change=uncertainties.
Are the trucks in red square loading up stuff and hauling it off? That would be an alarming datum.
Watch and wait, review emergency protocols, but stay calm. Some thing is definitely moving though
