X released the source code for its new 𝕏 algorithm. Every major platform has hidden behind "proprietary technology" excuses for years. X just opened the black box.

No manual heuristics. No hidden thumb on the scale. The algorithm predicts 15 different user actions and uses "attention masking" to ensure each post is scored independently, eliminating batch bias.

Most interesting? A built-in Author Diversity Scorer prevents any single account from dominating your feed. Researchers, competitors, and critics can now verify exactly how content gets promoted or filtered.

Those people are not trustworthy, and there are many ways in which bias can be introduced without tampering with code. Recall that X is known to have engaged in some decidedly unethical practices (such as throttling access to newssites singled out by Elon Musk as his personal enemies). Accordingly, I, for one, will not believe these claims without independent verification.

Also, when creating threads, please give them neutral titles - don't just copy unverified claims from shady individuals.
