Russians are moving into attack position? Should we be somewhat more concerned that an attack is actually going to happen soon or is this just a show of force to be threatening and frighten people?

In the sense that we're now on the hair-trigger level, yes we should be. But the ambiguity about what's actually going to unfold remains.

Rolling towards the border! These are the ones that just got off the trains, I would guess. They might just fire off the big guns tomorrow. Russia is saying they will talk all of a sudden just to distract them.

They have been training for this thing, for years now. Especially last year. They knew how long it would take them to move everything they needed.

I just hope they mined the hell out of the border and layered the forest with Claymores!

Well, for one thing, you don't see those mobile ICBMs just out on the street, unless it's a parade, like the May Day parade or something in that manner. Then, a few days ago, I did hear where Putin said that if Ukraine joined NATO, he would use nuclear weapons. Well today, if you look through the threads, you'll find where that Ukraine president said they were going to petition for membership in NATO. After that statement went public, the first thing to happen was very unusual worded traffic on 8992 with authentication ( which I've never personally heard before in close to 10 years of monitoring) Those missiles are certainly not going to be used for just over there. That would be overkill to the extreme. That's why I've said from time to time, here and there, that this is becoming far more serious than most of us want to realize. I don't want to spread fear. I"m not a military guy, and am weak on military strategy. Now if it was something with fire??? Yea, I'm very good at fighting strategy. Now, here's something that you want to think of. If you suddenly see something out of the ordinary--like things being taken down, etc., sudden changes or patterns in anything, anywhere, make a mental note of it, and you'll start to come to a workable solution.

Now, here's something else to put in the pipe and smoke it. Reports are coming out that this is a rehearsal for the May day parade. Well, this is February. Rehearsing 3 months early???? Yea right. Go figure. Don't be fooled or put to sleep.

Ukraine petitioned for nato in 2008, what zelensky said was that they are not going to give up their ideal of eventually joining nato ( he even said this obviously noting that they likely will not ) and I mean it has been inscribed in their constitution. That doesnt mean they are getting into nato, nato has been very skiddish about this whole thing in fact and is very far from stupid moves such as that.

Trust me, I do hope you're right. But, look at a few other things. I"m not arguing with you at all, but look at the vegetation on the trees. Even that far north, you should see buds coming out. And, also look at those smaller vehicles. They look close to new. I really hope you're right. I"ll eat crow any day when I need to.
