That’s their own dam troops that have fallen in battle since 2014. Outside of the main cemetery? Just to the north or east I believe. They had put wooden crosses with the names of the fallen Russians on them. It was the DNR and other Russian that buried them there, just out of site of the main cemetery.

I saw a guy on YouTube that had caught it a year ago or longer.

are curious to me. I think they're designed to create ambiguity. While some may believe that everything the Kremlin says is a lie, I think what these statements indicate is that Putin is still seeing what his options are.

Honestly, I feel he may drag this crisis out as long as he can in order to see what his options are before giving the go-ahead for either an actual withdrawal or some sort of offensive operation.

All they are doing in countering where Ukraine is building up its forces to block the Russians while saying, look we are pulling out. Typical shell game playing out.

Russia could be waiting for the New moon coming up which I know our Airforce always does! Obviously they can pound Ukraine for a week prior to the new moon with Artillery and not bat an eye
 
So Biden is saying we will respond in force to protect Americans. I thought we wouldn’t be coming to the rescue? What changed and how does this affect the escalation risk?

I’ve been watching that at one point there were two maneuvering around in fairly localized area. Another Blackhawk was in bound to same area from Poland. Also there have been to US fighters up a little to the north. Looked like they were training in air to air. There was also a RAF tanker on station west of there earlier in the day.

Go over and look north of Tallahassee fl. Looks like a swarm of bees there are so many blackhawks and Lakotas are in the air. Saw navy planes and Hurons which are used by SOF.
Looks like 7th group is training hard.

That's not a contradiction. There are still no plans to send in US personnel to evacuate Americans in Ukraine. Biden's statement was specifically about responding to Americans being directly hurt or killed by Russian military. There are no plans to send in troops to evacuate anyone or to fight the Russians. Unless, presumably, Americans are attacked directly by Russia in Ukraine.

I personally feel like this doesn't change the escalation risk, because even if unspoken this threat would have been implicit. It's part of the default unspoken deterrence rules going back to the old Cold War. Though, in the interest of controlling escalation spirals, there is room for exceptions. Korean flight 007 was shot down by the Soviets in 1983 and a US congressman was on board who died in the attack. WW3 wasn't launched in response. It depends on the circumstances and nuclear risks what will or won't be done on each side. This statement from Biden is just speaking what was already true.
 
Is it just me or does Russia want us to see what they are in fact doing? Why would they leave planes and helicopters out in plain site knowing they would likely get picked up by satellites?
