More than the "elites" (I term I think is overused), we could do worse than to monitor the level of activity at places like the Pentagon, State Department, etc. I recall jokes being made about the amount of pizza deliveries going to these places just before Gulf War I got rolling. If I lived in DC and could follow such things, I would.
It would really be cool (and helpful) to determine if there's any significant change in activity at places like Cheyenne Mountain, but I guess that would be difficult, if not impossible.

Who said anything about a "first strike nuclear holocaust"? All I said was it needs to be watched closely when Russia starts running nuclear drills at this time. Myself, I like war movies. Just watched one last night about USSR fighting the Nazis in WWII.
