Would be interesting if Russia spun the peacekeeping operation as a success. Read that shelling has stopped upon Russian soldiers entry into the Donbas, which must've been ordered by the Russians.
Two scenarios. Russia keeps the pressure on Ukraine by moving troops into the Donbas without making any sort of push, but halts shelling. The other is that shelling continues, Russians get hit, pretext, invasion/escalation.

Putin is going to secure his land bridge from the sea, Crimea and newly annexed Western provinces. If Ukraine resists, Kiev and the North will be next. Fun times we live in.

The US intelligence is not lying in my opinion. If so, it will get much worse.
Anyones game. I don't see NATO getting involved. But as to weather a full invasion happens or not is still very much a coin toss at this point.
But if a full invasion happens the risks though small go up of a conflict spilling out of Ukraine and say into a NATO country. That is imo worst case scenario however unlikely but not impossible.

So if I understand this right, Russia moves into the rebel regions -> sanctions -> Russia sees that as a declaration of war -> NATO gets involed?

Putin has said if those harsh sanctions Biden is talking about goes into effect would be a act of war. But honestly that's all bluster. Putin is not going to war against any NATO nation. Would be the most illogical move ever taken by any leader ever.

We’re still quite a ways out from that imo at the present time it’s just sanctions from the us and Russia sure as hell won’t attack nato I’ve sanctions otherwise that would have happened by now

So what about the pacts GB and Poland have signed with Ukraine, will it be like Poland 1939 we will see declaration that if russia does not pull out in 2-3 days, there will be a state of war between them, getting NATO involved?
