This is exactly what he’s saying, the west is seemingly getting closer and closer to getting involved and so Russia is taking this step in order to reaffirm that if nato troops get involved then it will go from 0-100 real quick
 
It’s not clear to me exactly what this means. Obviously it’s a threat. I assume it means Russia’s nuclear forces are now on some sort of hair trigger alert. Not sure how much concern is warranted, but I am more nervous than I was.

This.

This is the first major war in Europe for years that Russia has been directly involved in, and of course the entire world is against it.

They need some form of deterrence incase anyone gets brave. My worry is what they count as “getting brave”

I also worry because this is in response to what exactly? Sanctions?

Yeah I was waiting to see what they were going to do in response to the sanctions and the selective cutting off of Russian banks from SWIFT. Looks like this may be it. What the end result will be, I don't know.
