It’s a matter of scale, I am in now way down playing the thermobaric rocket launchers TOS-1 devastation.
But the use of the father of all bombs or thermobaric bomb is tied in the public’s mind to air dropped MOAB’s and the huge impact event they have. Its the difference between 24 400lb rockets compared to an 18,700 lb 46 giga joule bomb.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong but the thermobaric multiple rocket launcher is more comparable to a napalm drop.
Horrible but not the scary picture of a Moab detonating over a airport or industrial area. I might be making to much out of this I suppose

The US Ambassador is a diplomat, but expelling him would be a much more significant move. They issued a correction for a reason.

Yes it's a mouthpiece for the Russian government, but it's quoting the foreign ministry so I don't really see how that matters.
