Arguably the escalation scale is out dated and isn’t an actual representation of what will come next, putin could also be scared that a coup is going to take place, every decision he makes doesn’t mean nukes and we need to stop jumping to this conclusion every time he talks

Agree. Nukes literally can't solve all problems and i think we inevitably condition ourselves to believe that every solution he'll use to anything is nukes which is not the case

Agreed. And the United States are the biggest consumers of the world. With everything being about money and power, you’d think Russia would want to keep us here in the long term, not obliterate us. I fear everyone is playing into the nuclear card. Absolutely a real threat, but let’s all do what we want everyone else to do and keep cool heads.
