The White House said there will be "consequences" if China provides aid to Russia

I honestly think it was a mistake for USA leaders to make such a repeatedly and bold threat of consequences against PRC at this time. I believe it was a miscalculation which will aid Russia and Putin. There are many millions of Chinese people who have been taught to hate USA; now they have been given a specific, tangible reason coming not DJT, but directly from the mouths of the "moderate" USA leadership. We really need China to help in mediate peace with Russia.

Unfortunately this is how wars start, by miscalculations. Although I do hope that it does not come to that.
 
China is currently in no stable condition to even remotely face 10% of the sanctions on Russia. Not to mention China already has its plate full at home. No time or resources for China to help Russia anyways.

If they where capable or stable enough right now they would of made their move on Taiwan by now durring this month long invasion so far in Ukraine.

It is often really in how you say it. Biden’s never been very good at that.
