I see it as likely that they would be accepted.
Unless of course Russia directly threatened nuclear war, or began an invasion of Finland.

NATO cannot allow Russia to dictate to them who becomes a member of NATO and who does not. Otherwise, NATO is worthless as a military alliance.

I have no problem with Sweden or Finland joining nato. They are both stable European nations with well established boarders and no ongoing conflicts.
Plus’s their like Norway, they show up and take defense seriously.

I saw a great tweet meme today.
There are already 600,000 Russian soldiers in Finland. Their taking a dirt nap.
 
Also, considering many sources believe Putin to be preparing for a large assault in Ukraine, I somehow doubt he will make a move for Finland & Sweden at the same time.

Also if Russia begins to act aggressively towards Finland. This time NATO would move much quicker.
When you start to see accusations of Finish nazi’s you will know Russia is getting ready to make a move. Finland was aligned with Germany during WW2 just as parts of Ukraine were.

Yes and Ukraine played a part in the extermination of the Jews aswell which people forget. Hence Putin claims on neo-nazi Ukraine.
 
77 years ago and now the story is the other way around. Ukraine has a jewish president.
Btw the soviets was exterminating everyone that didn't fit. 35 million goners.
This war today is not about religion or race it's only just about domination and power.
And pseudo-religious ethical values only get in the way, no real warcriminal has ever cared about them at all.
But Putin remains cautious for some time now. The Soviet Union of his dreams is just some land grabs away...
Time will tell if he has to use full force to take Ukraine. The forces he holds back for a time now to reach his ultimate goal.

WW2.
Are we holding Poland Germany Romania Czech Norway Finland Russia Franceand a hand full of other nazi occupied nations.
Russia killed more Ukrainians in the Holdomore than died in nazi death camps, many of those were Jewish.
You know what the first governmental decree Stalin forced on the Ukrainians

Well the request process is up to the requesting country. The approval process is up to nato nations. There are indications that the only suspected holdout would be Hungary will not block their membership. That’s pretty much where we’re at.
