A senior EU source tells me: “Putin has now taken day-to day-control of the conflict and delegated the running of Russia to the Prime Minister”
One wonders if Putin will do any better than the McNamara crowd did during the Vietnam War.....isnt that what generals are for????
.....oh ....wait......didnt he purge most of his?

I was thinking the same thing. Didn't we do all this before?
Ya we did but we are supporting the Ukraine version of the NVA this go round..... arguably a "non professional peasant warrior army" who are fighting for their homeland..... wonder if there is Volodymyr Zelenski trail the Russians will carpet bomb like what happened with the Ho Chi Mihn........

What else...we had Lawrence of Arabia...... now Volodymyr of Ukraine

This shines a rather disappointing light into human nature and how no one learns from history......

From what I read there are a large number of Ukrainian forces at risk of being completely surrounded in Olexandrivka. Their situation is bad and they only have communication with the rest of the AFU through a small corridor along the coast, whether this corridor is still open I don't know.
There is talk of up to 1000 Ukrainian soldiers trapped.

With all that going on , it’s my view that if Russia is not stop soon I mean with in days , things will spin out of control very fast , worked in the navy for 23 years Iam a retired navy chief from the F-14 tomcat communit, we should be on a preemptive footing with our assets in the air 24-7 strike options selected , time is running short .troops and eq are moving towards Poland , and the last 4 days Russia is testing our outer defenses systems , they want to know where everything is before the launch there looking for windows . NATO know this , a major event is about to happen like it or not hang on ……. Been in combat 5 times at sea , this is what it looks like before strike .

We should have had troops on the ground eye to eye with the russians BEFORE the war started. IMO
Too late now that it's a hot war!

Besides the overall movement of troops and equipment to Eastern Europe and the air intercepts last couple of days. Anything else you’ve noticed.
The other day there were two cargo freight haulers for a total of five 747’s into Germany and Poland.

I’d bet they’re definitely deliveries for the Ukrainians

How about FIREPOWER! Think that's kind of important! These idiots are gonna get us in a hot war! IMO
I don’t think the US army needs to tweet about its power for the world to know it’s powerful

Remember when people thought the Russians were badass because of their manly recruitment ad?
