Admiral Makarov Hit By Missile & On Fire

As this invasion started, I gave Ukraine 2 months tops. I thought I was being wildly optimistic, but the staggering incompetence on display from Russia has shown that they have no idea how to fight a modern conflict. Anti-ship missiles have been around for a stupidly long time, and so have their assorted countermeasures. A brand new flagship of any fleet should be able to disrupt and/or destroy such missiles long before they actually hit. But, once again, Russia shows just how incompetent they are at anything military.

Maybe it's just me, but it could be that Russia is just acting weak to create a false sense of superiority and to enrage it's own population to prepare it for war.
 

REPORTS that the Russian Navy warship ‘Admiral Makarov’ is currently on fire after being struck by Ukrainian Neptune missiles can not be corroborated by the US, Ukraine or Russia, according to officials.​

UPDATE 12.33 am (MAY 7) – The US Pentagon said they have no information regarding the fate of the Russian Navy warship ‘Admiral Makarov’ – first reported as being sunk but later alleged to be on fire – which was reportedly hit by Ukrainian missiles late on Thursday, May 5.
