Turkey is losing a lot of face by doing it.
They lost a lot face already past many years cozying up to Putin. Buying Russian weapons and bunch of other grievances.
I personally think we should get rid of them from NATO. But saddly we need Turkey and cutting them out of NATO would end with no better results...

To be honest, I don't know why we need Turkey. What exactly are they bringing to the table today? If the West was attacked, I have no doubt Turkey would cut and run.
Turkey is geographically/strategically placed perfectly for US/NATO to use them for touch n' go missions in Middle East or Central Asia and refueling militarily in the region as well. Also nice to have bases that close to Russia.
Overall it's not about what Turkey can do for us or give us but rather where their nation is placed that makes them pretty valuable. Just need their location geographically, only thing that makes them important and nothing more.

i guess Greece could have the same role about that? ( strategic location and such )
But if NATO get rid of Turkey, Turkey could be a pain in the ass, they could block greece
Or worse go to war with Greece like they been wanting to. Only thing stopping those two going at it is both of them being in NATO

i kinda disagree with you
If for some reason, Turkey leaves Nato, i don't think they would attack Greece, because attacking Greece is attacking Nato, with all possible consequences doing so.
I completely understand where your coming from. But if Turkey gets kicked out of NATO I don't think Energon is going to act rational and perhaps lash out worst case scenario at Greece.

What could risk Turkey if they leave NATO?
Erdogan has never struck me as stable leader. Very unpredictable and unstable is what I would evaluate him as. Getting kicked out of NATO I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he lashed out militarily at Greece.
They would be absorbed into Russia eventually like Belarus or worse if Turkey resists Russia may end up like Ukraine without NATO.

Who says conquer? I didn't say Russia would conquer Turkey. But rather be absorbed like Belarus or worse turn into Ukraine where Russia just bombs the crap out of Turkey into submission if they resist to be absorbed like Belarus.
But hey if Tukrey gets kicked out of NATO wouldn't surprise me any if they just quietly get absorbed into Russia like Belarus without a fight or resistance.

No way. Turkeys president has been very warm to Putin/Russia. They get kicked out I would bet a lot of money Turkey will run to Russia with open arms like Belarus did, is likly outcome.
Worst case they resist but their leader has been rather found and warm to Putin/Russia so doubtful. Will just be a Belarus 2.0.
