Not news.

China, Russia, and India have been crying like babies for decades to not use the dollar for trade. But they just can't, no one can cut the dollar out of trade without major self inflicted harm to one's own economy. 😅

Given the statehood of both Russian and Chinese economies right now, would be suicide to use their own currency for trade. Not sure how they intend on buying things with very devalued currency with crumbling economies. China or Russia couldn't print enough of their own money for trade without collapsing. 😂🤦‍♂️
1 Chinese Yuan equals 0.15 United States.☠

So tell me, if you where a business man and wanted to buy material from say Africa. Would you use 1,000,000 dollars to make your purchase or 6,756,400 Yuans?

Only one viable choice to make, the 1,000,000 dollars will always be chosen. Less bulky currency. Costs more to shore up 6,756,000 yuans then to shore up 1,000,000 dollars to purchase with.

Not to mention material you buy is cheaper when using dollars compared to other currencies for international trade. Lastly it would be impossible for China to print all their money they need for world trade, would run them into the ground.

SO if they ordered all trade contracts with Western nations to be priced settled on CIPS in Yuan and stopped pegging to the dollar or pegged the dollar at 4 yuan. That Wouldn't change that calculation or the dollars status.
Since we went crazy on Russia, China required all new contracts to have a sanctions clause for settlement in Yuan on CIPS.

The United States on Thursday sought to facilitate Russian food and fertilizer exports by reassuring banks, shipping and insurance companies that such transactions would not breach Washington's sanctions on Moscow over its invasion of Ukraine.

Moscow would still only sale to friendly countries these products (Nothing for Countries that have sanctioned them).

The European Commission's guidelines have lifted significant amount of transit restrictions to the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad, accounting for over 80%, Governor Anton Alikhanov said on Thursday.

Exclusive: Saudi Arabia doubles Q2 Russian fuel oil imports for power generation

Saudi Arabia, the world's largest oil exporter, more than doubled the amount of Russian fuel oil it imported in the second quarter to feed power stations to meet summer cooling demand and free up the kingdom's own crude for export,

Italian PM Draghi is stepping down!!!!

Another one gone, another one is gone another one bites the dust!!!!

About that, maybe here I am the more informated one.

What it is going on in Italy is simply this: NOTHING. I know our polical dynamics.

First, you have to know what the things are here. In the Parliament, the most important Party is "Movimento 5 stelle (M5S)", with 33%. This Party won the election in 2018 with an interesting programmatic platform: "Vaffanculo!", as to say "Fuck off!". I'm not joking, many "vaffa-days" were organized by the Party. The opposite Party, the Party that has the real power in Italy, is the "Partito Democratico (PD)". The M5S electoral program was "fuck off the PD! PD go home! Now we come, and we say fuck off to all that is represented by PD". The leader of the Party is Beppe Grillo, a comedian who, in his electoral harangues, said almost 1000 "fuck off!" per minute.
The other winning Party in the 2018 election, was Lega, with the leader Salvini. The programmatic platform of this Party was to be againt the EU, against the Euro, against the uncontrolled immigration. This leader is famous to post on Twitter provocative photos of himself eating Nutella or wearing sweatshirts with brave slogans. If he goes to Florence, the sign is "W Florence". If he goes to Venice, the sign is "W Venice".

Ok. All them, once having won the election, after almost one year, they went with the PD. The Covid pandemic has worsened the situation. By then, pratically every party in the Italian Parliament is part of the Gouvernement and of the majoriy. The only Party who is in the opposition is "Fratelli d'Italia (FDI)", with Giorgia Meloni as a leader. In all that time, this little party at the opposition has made absolutly nothing in order to oppose the Gouvernement.

To speak about Italian politic is very complicated and it's not even worth it. What I said is just the picture of the situation. In short words: almost 100% of the Parliament is into the Gouvernement, except an handful of really brave mad dogs.

So, what is going on is not an actually problem. In fact, yesterday, the Parlaiment has made the "vote of confidence" and the Gouvernement HAS OBTANEID the confidence, as to say the majority of voters of the Parliament.

Why? This "Italian crisis" is made by M5S, whom has, as said, the 33% of the Parliament.

So: 100% - 33% = 67% > 50%

Pratically, what is going on NOW in Italy is a mummery. In fact, technically, there is absolutely any crisis at all in progress.

Furthermore, what should be the reasons of the "crisis"? Maybe at least one of the most important things of the times we are living? Maybe the lack of gas, the sanctions against Russia that hurt our own economy? The possibility of a war? As to say: something IMPORTANT for the Country? No. The reasons are something marginal about some subsidy. Why all this? Think about what I said about the picture of the situation: M5S has betrayed all its promises: it won the election saying something, just to do exctly the contrary in a way so truly blatant to be understood as true take of a piss. In fact, in the last amminitrative election, M5S is disapperead.

So, what is really going on? The following: M5S is making a mess, just to make the people undestand that is still the Party of the "fuck off!" and Draghi is simply holding the game, because is usefull also for him that people don't really realize that, instead to be a dictatorship with one only party, we are a dictatorship with 1000 parties all of them part of the same majority.
As soon as this mummery will end, M5S will return obedient as before. 100% sure.

So, if Draghi will decide to leave, it will be not because he doesn't have a majority anymore, but ONLY if HIMSELF wants to leave. And it is not be excluded that between M5S and Draghi there is a secret deal about that. M5S "demostrates" to still be the Party of the "fuck off" and Draghi has the good reason to leave making it seem that he is not him to want it.

The REAL QUESTION SO IS THE FOLLOWING:

If Draghi wants to leave, Why he wants to leave?

The more likely scenario, is that after some mess, Draghi still remain as a Prime Minister. But if he wants to leave (and we will discover soon) I have some idea about that. In that case, it is possible that something big and serious is going to happen.

RUSSIA ATTACKS CITY WITH SA-300’s

Consider the source. IMO it seems reasonable and matches earlier reports that the Russians are out of AGM’s and are lobbing Air to air missiles at cities, relying on unused propellant for destructive fires.

USA and Russia to resume mixed crew flights to ISS....but that's less interesting than Rogozin getting fired. Surprised no one else here posted it yet...

Rogozin is a prick, but an inner circle prick. There is some squawk he might be moved to some high level position in the Ukrainian theatre.

Aside from a couple pariah States, who is supporting Russia?
A bunch of nobodies and pariah states only support Russia.

The countries that can actually make a difference on global theater are not with Russia besides China which even then China is not fully on board with Russia. That's all that matters.

No but there is a lot of PR and social media that tell us it’s failed.
While I’ve only partially been at ease with how the US has responded. I take some assurances that most response has been motivated by calls from Eastern European nations and Finland and Sweden.

After all of the logistical and training necessities are properly dealt with for a conflict. What is the next most important factor for a fighting force. Unified purpose of mission and commitment to the mission.

You are right, period.

Im sorry my ability to communicate sarcasm is evidently weak today.

No - DPRK recognizing them will mean absolutely nothing, except that it’s probably the exact opposite position one should take.

Seriously what does it say when the only nations supporting you are nations that have active sanctions and trade restrictions imposed against them.
By MOST of the nations of the world.

It’s kind of like Jeffery Dahlmer telling you “I got your back buddy”

You know, after how much we are assisting Ukraine I'm honestly waiting dreadfully for the day I wake up to a modern day Pearl harbor as soon as I check this fourm or the news. We are directly helping in a war at this point just like we did against the Germans and the Japanese.

Well, you are right. Russia could certainly decide to attack the US in response to assisting Ukraine. There is a bit of difference, though, between the two. Japan thought it would wipe out the US ability to retaliate. Russia is not so foolish to think that.

Will Russia attack the US over Ukraine? I'm not seeing it. For now, anyway.

While I can admit that Blair might be right. He doesn’t have a very good track record and always struck me not as a leader of a nation, but a puppet for his employers.
