Source of NS2 leak is apparently near the island of Bornholm. No word yet on NS1.

Note: neither pipeline was in operation - NS1 was shut down in August while NS2 never launched.

The rumor right now is Putin done it to sabotage any possible government that follows his.
That's fine with me. So long as Putin is strung up on a light poll with his own entrails like Mussolini for being a evil soulless dictator with the blood of likely millions souly on his hands. 💁‍♂️

Attacking the pipelines makes sense, well, RF likely knows at this point that the EU gas business is never coming back anyway. this is actually predictable because they shut off NS one by themselves NS 2 was never going to be turned on and the EU is going to make it through winter without problems without them, so they can make a distraction that supports their narrative this way, they couldn't pull off blaming UA for the nuclear plant shelling, this is the next thing in their list and they will blame the US (I see already trolls posting their evidence". what is left for them to sell? minerals? Wheat? I'm reading they are sending their farmers and miners to die in Ukraine.

You really shouldn't suppress your feelings. It'll give you an ulcer.

Russia does not need to blow up the gas pipeline because it already controls the valve on its side - simply can close it at any time.
Put additional gas to pipes or soon pipes will be full of water.
It makes no sense. The pipeline was blown up by American bombs in several places. America hated its construction more than anyone, and of course destroyed it. No one else wanted it.

Yea, they could want to cause chaos but honestly I'm thinking Ukraine, US, or some Mideast country *maybe* a rogue European one.
Or China

The explosions took place in an area under the full control of the NATO Navy. I doubt they are that blind.

It is very difficult for us to understand who has make that, but it is an "elevator fart situation" in which there are 2 persons. There are 2 side: NATO and Russia. At some level, both side know who has made that. For us, that we see the result after the opening of doors' elevator, it's impossibile to know, because both sides have some reasons to do that. But who have to know, he actually knows. Baltic see has not international waters. Do have NATO Countries (and allies) the tecnical certitude to intercept submarines? If yes, it's impossibile that the guilty is Russia.
However, it is a fact of an unprecedented seriousness. Definitely , GREEN is by then very optimistic, IMHO.

I bet it was the US, Fuck your pipeline Russia! The USA and Canada can supply NA and EU with LPG. In 2020, almost three-quarters of the extra-EU crude oil imports came from Russia (29 %), the United States (9 %), Norway (8 %), Saudi Arabia, and the United Kingdom (both 7 %) as well as Kazakhstan and Nigeria (both 6 %). A similar analysis shows that over three-quarters of the EU's imports of natural gas came from Russia (43 %), Norway (21 %), Algeria (8 %), and Qatar (5 %). In comparison, more than half of solid fossil fuel (mostly coal) imports originated from Russia (54 %), followed by the United States (16 %) and Australia (14 %).
In 2020, more than 80 % of energy imports were petroleum products in Cyprus, Malta, Greece, and Sweden and more than a third was natural gas in Hungary, Austria, and Italy. Nearly 15 % of energy imports were solid fuels in Slovakia, Poland, and Czechia.
