The Biden administration is playing a "dangerous game" with China by delaying weapons aid to Taiwan, according to the Hudson Institute's Michael Pillsbury.

What’s in play here
#1 world chip manf taiwan #2 ROK, #3 Japan, #4 China, #5 US.
These are followed by Germany UK France, Netherlands.

A lot of complex microprocessor are manufactured by several of these nations and others contributing.

The high end chips are made mostly in the US and Japan.
The midrange chips, think cell phones Taiwan, ROK
The internet of things chip sets come mostly from China.
By dollar valuation based on chip complexity and use by far still the larges chip manufacturing is the US.
Intel, NVidia but they are not alone in this position. Much of the manufacturing and contributing components to these high end chips come from several nation both east and west.

So when someone says we have no business or stake in defending Taiwan they are misinformed. We and a lot of other industrialized nations have a reason to be involved. And that is just the business motivation.

This is a super in-between-the-lines kind of situation here. What I am getting out of this is as follows -
1. This is all but confirmation that China will absolutely move on Taiwan, and it’s going to happen soon. (Soon being 1-3 years)
2. China has communicated very clearly that US is to keep its distance when they make the move, but will allow the US to supply weapons. Troops and Navy are off limits. US is China’s bitch here.
3. Something is amiss, here. What is up with all these blank checks and supplying of arms? Why are we showing such a willingness to deplete our stocks of munitions?

Don't be fooled, we have a lot in stockpile still. We are only sending lower end weapons to Ukraine. All the good stuff or high end toys we still have plenty loads of our advisories wish they had let alone per scale as us with our high end wide variety of precision munitions, equipment, vehicles, ships, planes.

As for basic ammunition/missiles that is just a matter of how much money we are willing to throw at our military industrial complex to kick up production which we are enitely capable of. Again gotta give the initiative which Congress has not.
