Report for the morning of 08.06, 08 AM for Kiev-Moscow time.
The Ukrainian counter-offensive is ongoing.
Have you guys heard of any? Probably not.
That's because Ukrainians themselves, plus Western media would never admit these movements as the beginning of their counteroffensive, if they won't gain any significant landmark.y' know, a Propaganda factor
New Russian footage for past several days shows 42 armored vehicles lost by Ukraine. Including lots of new Western equipment, such as Maxxpro, Mastiff armored cars, AMX-10RC wheeled tanks and CV90 IFV's.
That's only what has gotten into the camera, and not even everything had been analyzed.
I shall put a reminder that Ukraine has none actual experience for the offensives:
Their previous glorious land reclaims were just re-taking the lands of Russian retreats and abandonments. They never had to clash into the Russian defences like they do right now. Their low morale on units also doesn't help. Ukraine soldiers are not as relentless as they thought. They were convinced that Russians would be scared and run when those move on. Propaganda does not good deed on soldiers themselves. Russian positions were reinforced with EW equipment and are being heavily supported by air with new guided munitions.
The destrucktion of Kakhovka dam has changed the frontline layout greatly - it allowed Russian forces to draw some troops from Kherson area and relocate them to reinforce Zaporozhye region. It seems that Ukrainians decided not to wait anymore, to not let Russians pour more troops in Zaporozhye.
Meanwhile, Russian forces had eliminated an IRIST-T anti-air system, destroying it's radar& guidance piece.

It has been spotted and shot at Kherson area. It may indicate that, Ukraine is lacking it's old stocks of post-Soviet systems such as BUK, and the fact that it has been put so close to the frontline of Kherson area within the reach of Lancet drones, shows that they clearly had some offensive intetions upon that region, but were unable to follow.
