The director of the CIA says disaffection in Russia with the war in Ukraine was creating a once-in-a-generation opportunity to recruit spies.William Burns said his agency was not letting it go to waste. He said: "Disaffection with the war will continue to gnaw away at the Russian leadership beneath the steady diet of state propaganda and practiced repression."That disaffection creates a once-in-a-generation opportunity for us at the CIA - at our core a human intelligence service. We're not letting it go to waste."

“THE REVOLT IS NEARING” Igor Girkin (Strelkov), a nationalist who played a key role in Russia's 2014 invasion of Ukraine , just wrote his 900K Telegram followers something important.Key parts: A week since Prigozhin revolted, which shot down 6 aircraft & killed “more than 10 (no one knows for sure) soldiers - no measures have been taken to punish the rebels.” Rather, Prigozhin travels around and freely enters Russia - and everyone behaves like “this is normal.” None of the “incompetent or cowardly” government leaders, nor those who ran away when Prigozhin showed-up, have been punished. AND the “President” doesn’t even talk about it. “The result?? ANOTHER REBELLION IS NOT FAR OFF. WE ONLY NEED TO WAIT FOR ANOTHER DEFEAT AT THE FRONT AND THE REBELLION WILL BEGIN .” “It does not matter who starts the revolt - NOW NO ONE WILL RESIST AGAINST THE REBELLION. NOBODY AT ALL.IT MAKES NO SENSE RISKING YOUR LIFE DEFENDING SUCH A USELESS AND MISERABLE GOVERNMENT.” You cannot save a country whose leaders are so “rotten that they have lost even the elementary instinct of self-preservation. They prefer to do nothing.”---When well-known, hardline nationalists, who happen to be former intelligence, openly say the situation in Russia is out-of-control: Things are about to get VERY exciting in Moscow.

Question can Ukraine bypass the front line defenses by invading Russia from the North and encircling? Putin would then launch a nuke on Kiev and NATO intervenes then war is over or WW3. Either way it’s over. End this bullshit now.

Politically it’s a likely non-starter. Too much pushback from nato on that.
Also depends on the actual battlefield strengths and weaknesses.
The NVA used a similar tactic to this by crossing into Laos.
But any such tactic by Ukraine would need to result in a quick encirclement and subsequent collapse of many many kilometers of Russian front.
Ukraine does not have enough troops to occupy successfully an enlarged battlefront.
It’s in their interest to keep pushing east and closing on the Sea of Azov. It splits Russian forces and concentrates all their new equipment and trained troops onto a smaller battlefield. This is to their advantage.

Ukraine to receive dozens of Leopard 1A5 tanks "in next few weeks" – German Defence Minister

Wow! A5’s almost modern. (Nato countries generally fields A6s and A7s)
This Article meant the 1 (!)A5 Leopard, the A6/A7 Variants are the Leopard 2, there are significant differences in Performance, Capability, Movement, Look, etc
;)

Opps. Damn I thought they were getting twos. In fact I know they are. They are training them with the M1A they are getting from the US. Both are still in training. It takes a long time to master those systems and the Air land battle western concept especially with it being centered on the NCO not the officers. It ls the opposite of everything they know, and have ever learned. Frankly they still are not fighting like a western army. I think its 6 months maybe 8 before they are ready.

Best I can tell (open Source) Germany, UK and the USA are EACH training 30,000 men to western standards in the upper shelf NATO level equipment.

Thats up to 9 divisions or Three Corps. That a metric crap-ton of NATO style warfighters to be injected into the fight. I believe it will be fought/organized in Brigade levels as this amount composes spares, reinforcements, and reserves.

Copy paste has ruined journalism.

Unconfirmed reports of the use of Lewisite by Russian troops. Have no clue if these reports are accurate, just thought I'd share them in case you guys can verify it.
According to numerous articles, Russia destroyed it's last stockpile of Lewisite in 2017. Furthermore, Lewisite in it's gaseous form is colorless and odorless and assumes a variety of colors in it's liquid form, contrary to the small green cloud shown in one of the videos and presented as the only "proof" to the claims, which could have easily been edited at any rate. We can only verify that it isn't misinformation if Ukraine releases images of the victims with verifiable chemical injuries on their flesh, assuming that the AFU has managed to casevac them.

Thanks, so the reports are likely total BS.

Not the first vague allegations of the use of chemical weapons around Bakhmut, though the previous ones came from Russia (way back in February). They made a big deal out of it back then; Komsomolska Pravda even ran a breaking news headline saying "Kyiv starts a chemical war!"

I suspect many such stories begin when soldiers start feeling unwell - although it pays to remember protracted warfare and dysyntery go hand in hand given the poor sanitary conditions near the frontline.

I think Putin is desperately trying to find new ways to escalate without having to launch a nuke.
I’m not so sure, something happened with the wagner revolt. I know it looked like a circus act in some ways. However it’s was so abruptly halted and confusion of who or what groups in the Russian military were maybe tacitly supporting them. Then the confusing non-resolution to the revolt.
I believe it was a serious jarring to the Russia military and civilian command.
I am wondering if we’re seeing an unwinding of Russian resolve to fight this they to conclusion.

I know I could be completely mistaken here. But it all just seems so odd.
Coupled with this latest report of secret talks. And the reports that nato is seriously looking at Ukraine coming into nato and European sphere.

I only read a headline. They may have been editorializing.
That's the problem with MSM; while they may not want to intentionally mislead you, they often do - due to the Chinese whispers phenomenon. We've seen it happen many times over since the start of this war. I think the OSINT community should be held to a higher standard than the journos, at least in such matters.

OSint is like the village gossip network.
Those neighbors who might tell a lie or stretch the truth. Or are just stupid observers of what’s going on around them.
Part, sometimes a good percentage of the village feeds on their whisper campaigns or stories they tell.

There are always the few who see it for what and who they are and ignore them.

The internet has just made the village much bigger.
And also exposed parts of the MSN of being professional gossips.

You can’t change any of that.
And yes we are the better for it because at least now we realize a major portion of the MSM are no different.
Don’t know how your going to hold any of them to account.
To attempt to do so will only silence many of the few honest voices that are out there in the collateral.
