ALL diplomatic or geopolitical framework around a ceasefire or peace deal between Ukraine & Russia goes into the thread with the ☮️ emoji.

ALL news regarding military activities or actions in Ukraine & Russia or any other country's involved militarily however goes in the thread with the ⚔️ emoji.

Hope that clears some of the air up. Thanks as always for helping keeping these forums "in fashion" while the world continues to catch a flame.

“We will launch a large package, the likes of which we have never seen before,” Baerbock told Bloomberg during the Munich Security Conference.

Macron to visit Washington next week, Waltz says​

French President Emmanuel Macron is coming to Washington next week, national security adviser Mike Waltz said on Wednesday.
Macron called for an emergency “informal” meeting with world leaders just days ago in Paris to discuss European security and the challenges posed by President Donald Trump’s administration. Trump and Macron had a “friendly” but brief conversation just prior to the summit, POLITICO reported on Monday.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer is also set to visit next week, Waltz said on Fox News. Starmer’s office confirmed the visit earlier this week.

This trip comes on the heels of Trump’s increasing jabs at Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for not doing more to end the war in Ukraine earlier. Trump called Zelenskyy a “dictator without elections” on Wednesday, as European leaders are growing fearful that Trump will side with Russian President Vladimir Putin over the interests of longtime European allies.
 
Two days ago Putin claimed that Russian forces crossed the Ukrainian border at the Sumy region. This is possibly the first footage from this region and it shows that the Russian attempt failed. Two Russian BMD-2 were disabled. The surviving Russians run for their lives..

China says it backs new US and Russian ‘consensus’ on Ukraine war (G20)​

China supports the “recent consensus” the U.S. and Russia have reached on ending the war in Ukraine, the country’s top diplomat said Thursday.

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi told a Group of 20 summit in South Africa that Beijing “hopes that the parties concerned can find a sustainable and lasting solution that takes into account each other’s concerns,” according to a statement put out early Friday by China’s foreign ministry.

“China supports all efforts dedicated to peace, including the recent consensus reached by the United States and Russia,” and was willing to play a “constructive role” in peace talks, the statement added.
