If they were to take action the population would 100% support it. I’m Indian and I live in New Delhi. Almost everyone wants to blow Pakistan up.

Yes. Under Modi, anti-Muslim and anti-terrorism actions have played well for him, just look at the three terms he's won as Prime Minister.

Arabic sources are trying to push this as a false flag. Indicators of escalation are rising. The Indian sphere of social media is abuzz with the term “strikes.”.

I can’t verify anything yet, so I won’t post, much. Most firsthand reports and people in India in general are gaslighting the term “strikes” as in it’s going to happen, not that it already has.

I’m a native speaker of Hindi. I’d edit some of those keywords, they appear to be poorly translated. I’d add this पहलगाम (translation of the area the attack took place in). Add बंदूकधारी (gunmen) too.

Yes, I noticed that. The main idea being floated right now is overwhelming force, as the surgical strikes on Pakistan in 2019 clearly did nothing, at least that's what’s being floated around in India’s political class and governorates... everywhere I look...

That’s at least what’s being circulated within India’s political class and governorates... everywhere I look.

Sadly, there’s nothing verifiable yet, just chatter from Indian parliament heads and media buzzing about military action, but nothing concrete has materialized militarily so far. Still, the chatter is... uncomfortable...

Yes. Modi didn’t leave Saudi Arabia just two hours after arriving and cancel his trip so abruptly unless action was already planned or at least seriously on the table.

However, there appears to be a systematic campaign by Arab media within Pakistan trying to portray this as a false flag.

Either way, it’s not good.

Yes. Not to mention, India still attacked Pakistan the last time a terror attack like this occurred on their border in 2019.

👉️ Also, the Pakistani government is at fault for allowing these terror camps to exist within their borders. India will declare, as it did last time, that it has every right to strike inside Pakistani territory to defend itself. And by the sound of it, this time it looks like it could be large-scale, unlike the previous surgical strikes.
