China already has naval bases there and has recently agreed with host nations to expand them. So not sure what your point is. 🧐

Cannot negotiate with Iran or terrorist!!!! So he didn’t negotiate with the Houthi’s an Iranian proxy and it was all an optional endeavor and not in any way related to demonstrating to Iran the seriousness of our intent.

“Let Chana police the Gulf of Arabia” and ensure the international trade routes are kept open.

All because Trump did it

Really? Because I didn't take it that way. And uh, don't look at what Iran said JUST yesterday. 🫣

Iran's foreign minister responds to Trump's red line on ZERO enrichment

'Demanding zero uranium enrichment means NO DEAL'
&...
𝐈𝐫𝐚𝐧’𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐔𝐧𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐅𝐮𝐫𝐲: “𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐦𝐩 𝐢𝐬 𝐋𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠… 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐬!”

Don't think the terrorists got that message either.

  1. No troops would be needed.
  2. Minimal risk to any (US) lives.
  3. Iran unlikely to go to war.
  4. Would mostly be Israel's fight.
  5. Israel has stated it is more then ready to take this on. But not without us watching their back, which again minimal risk to us doing so.
Once again US (shockingly Trump of all people) is holding Israel back...

As I said agree to disagree. Maybe you can Trust terrorists or ok with terrorists having nuclear weapons. But I am not. And we have an ally more then willing to take care of it (mostly) for us.
First everything you listed off about striking Iran is even more true regarding air strikes against the Houthi’s.

Exactly how is Trump holding Israel back. We’re helping to subdue the Houthi’s
Our demands on what Iran must do have not changed and have been recently reiterated.

What has the WH said or done to discourage or criticize Israel in their dealings with Gaza/

Anyone who thinks I don’t recognize the need to deal with Iran properly and definitively doesn’t read my post.

What I find ironic where was this vitriol for the past four years while the incumbent administration actually did little to nothing.

Then to now turn up the social media like diatribe that we’ve been abandoned or betrayed. Because Iran hasn’t been bombed yet.
We waited 1460 days while the Biden admin did nothing. Trump has been in short of four months. Is or has basically addressed the Houthi missile issue. Tried to encourage talks with Iran. Got the last American hostage back. Provided only encouragement and now evidently intel on Iran targets to Israel. Proposed a solution and dialogue in the Middle East to achieve some semblance of lasting peace and life in Gaza.

Now one day after what publicly appeared to be pointless talks with Iran.
We have now not reached an end to the road of negotiations with Iran.
No it’s a betrayal and weak kneed capitulation to Iran.

Has anyony asked themselves what comes after the Ayatollahs and the IRG is brushed aside. Will ISIS reconstitute or will it be the Taliban spreads into the northern parts of Iran. We have allies there.
What happens to all those brave Iranian woman who have been demanding more freedom for years?
Anyone remember the Obama admin going mum and said absolutely nothing when the Arab spring spread to Iran and people were in the streets protesting. Well that really wasn’t part of the plan was it?

Was killing Solimani in Iraq nothing. Many called it reckless and dangerous to provoke Iran so forcefully and outside the bounds of international law.
So yes Irans nuclear program needs dealt with. Been saying that for going on a decade here. Just spare me the fear porn that Trump is doing just what Bush Obama and Biden did. And somehow this is a new betrayal of Israel.

Maybe they shouldn't have voted for a bunch of terrorists to be their government.
I do think allot of them have been indoctrinated, brain washed to use and old term or radicalized. Do you think they could be rehabilitated or is it ingrained in them to hate the west to deep now?

I always believe in people being able to change minds.

You know the sad truth of the matter is what choice do people on the street actually have?
We’ve all witnessed the political turmoil, risk and cost in the US political landscape the last 12-15 years. It’s been costly, time consuming, and caused a great deal of disruption. All while layered over a cultural and political environment of a still marginally self-gov and and liberty.

How exactly are poor families and shop keepers supposed to organize and act as collective to vote in their self interest.
Let alone even know in the myriad of life choices what is in their self interest.

There is still a fairly continuous issue of vaccine mandates in the US that is still largely up in the air. While in most of the remaining western nations it’s a settled issue. Much like it has been in totalitarian states from the beginning.

The last elections in Palestine were held 19 years ago. It’s fair to assume a good chunk of the adult population and none of the children have ever voted in or even seen an election. This doesn’t excuse them voting for Hamas in 2006 though.

Perhaps Israel shouldn't have supported Hamas either.

For years, Netanyahu supported Hamas. Now, we're paying the price.
The Prime Minister's policy of dealing with the terrorist group at the expense of Abbas and the creation of a Palestinian state has caused immeasurable harm.

For years, the various governments led by Benjamin Netanyahu adopted an approach that divided power between the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, bringing Palestinian Authority (PA) President Mahmoud Abbas to his knees while taking steps that strengthened the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas.

The idea was to prevent Abbas—or any other member of the PA government in the West Bank—from making progress toward the creation of a Palestinian state.

Thus, as part of this attempt to weaken Abbas, Hamas went from being a mere terrorist group to an organization with which Israel conducted indirect negotiations through Egypt, and which was allowed to receive injections of funds from abroad.

I agree with this kinda. I do believe there was pressure from the US to do this though. After so many trials I do not believe the 2-state solution is going to work.

They may have not had an election in 19 years, but they were certainly celebrating the Oct 7 attacks.
