Unimaginable Horror Caused by a Single Nuclear Bomb

While I understand the importance of bringing light to the dangers of nuclear war in dangerous times like these, I fear the use of emotional music and pleas to emotion being used to call for stoppage of support for Ukraine. Pushing this narrative that we WW3 is certain yet not in support of a strong Ukraine. Meanwhile a strong Ukraine is the only thing keeping the Russians from having even more of knife held to NATO's throat. I'm not buying this holier than thou approach the right has been taking towards the War in Ukraine phrasing it as a direct nuclear threat to the USA. The message has meat to it, and I don't think anyone here is pro nuclear war. However there are plenty of us that are pro democracy, and anti-dictatorship/Imperialism, and Tulsi Gabbard speaking into the camera won't be the game changing message they think it is.

I don't think Tulsi Gabbard is anti-democracy or pro dictatorship/imperialism and I do think russias nuclear arsenal is a direct threat to the west. I do think she has the same policy as President Trump and just wants the killing to stop. I do not agree with her previous statements on stopping military aid to Ukraine though. I just think she is an advocate for peace.

There is a very... well, obvious message with the video she posted, though. Emotional music and emotionally-laden language. It's a tad bit creepy. Why did she make the video anyway? It'd be more apt to post it on the actual anniversary day of the bombing, too. I think we all know (that includes public connciousness, so not just us forum visitors) that nukes are horrifying. Could be her wanting peace, but if she still is of the opinion to stop arming Ukraine, it wouldn't be too far fetched that this as an attempt at political messaging. Not just that nukes are bad, but that every threat of it should be taken seriously and we should be scared of crossing a nation that could use them. She also has some other... weirder talking points in the video that aren't just about the fact that nukes are bad.
