Everything will be decided on the 227th inter-service training ground of the Belarusian forces, better known as the Borisov polygon.

According to the press and pro-🇷🇺 milbloggers, this is where the main phase of Zapad-2025 will take place.

Analysis of GEOINT of the polygon: an area to the west immediately catches the attention.
Nearly 200 hectares cleared in July 2023, just before the Zapad initially scheduled, canceled one week before its launch.

Since then, between 2023 and 2025, this sector has remained abandoned.

Something I found interesting: The NOTAMs for airspace closure issued now by all three Baltic states and Poland go for two weeks or more, but the Zapad exercises are scheduled only for 5 days.

Worth noting the "training" before the Ukraine invasion was scheduled for 3 weeks, then just never stopped.

NOTAMs have been issues in responde of the drones incursiones not due to the Zapad excercise.

Borderes in the other end were closed due to Zapad.

For those who don't speak French - it seems that an artificial marshland has been prepared within the boundaries of the proving ground. Notably, the Suwalki Gap is notorious for being rather marshy.
 
I can’t save and post screen shot sorry.
But this is I unusual. On adsbexchange flight tracker if you select military transponders 1 to 2 dozen European and American military planes will pop all over Europe. Pretty much the norm. Tonight there are two, a c-5 inbound from the US over the med and a British inte plane running a race track over England. Rest of nato and Russia for that matter have switched off their transponders.

If anyone has explanation be good to hear

Both are having training exercises right now? Only thing I could think of.
