I don't think this is likely at all, FWIW. In such a scenario I would be far more worried about a radical group seizing their nuclear arsenal rather than the existing generals going out with a bang.

At present, I agree mostly because I don’t see Pakistan being allowed to collapse at any point in the short to medium future. There’s a reason former presidents have said Pakistani nukes have kept them up at night though.

Agreed. If there ever is a thing called a safe bet... It would be that the world knows that it's in their best interest not to see Pakistan collapse. Last thing anyone needs regardless whom you are is loose nukes....

It's probably the only thing left every world leader can agree on.
