I will never buy into any peace talks Trump proposes specifically with Iran (only). Last time he said he was seriously considering a peace deal... 48 hours later we attacked them. But with Witkoff in the region, he certainly has a high chance of bad touching this situation as he always does and will end up with a nuclear armed Iran in the end and somehow calling it a "win". Smh.

Definitely a strategic error on Iran's part if they want to keep the US from attacking.
 
When thinking about the overall strategic policy. Imagine a rabid opossum. Lash out, then curl up in a ball, wait for it to calm down, rinse and repeat.

Yet, it's not hard to understand: Iran will never abandon its defense program; they've said so repeatedly.

All these talks are futile. The only way to remove the Mullahs from power is through invasion; an attack will be pointless, just like the others. On the other hand, an invasion will lead to a quagmire for at least 20 years. If the Americans want that, then pay up.

Remember, Trump is “skipping” it. That means he will be able to be in the war room at a moment’s notice.

My feeling is, a deadline of talks was imposed, Iran didn’t give a damn (in short) and now final preparations for an actual strike have begun. One more carrier too. Might not be any going back from here.

I think that's a good analysis. The talks on Friday might not even go ahead now.

Iran does this. They stall, stall, and stall again. It’s like they want to give the US and Israel more time to prepare blow them to hell.

At this point I’m surprised Iran hasn’t done a pre-emptive strike. What does Iran hope to achieve by stalling?
 
Who knows what chain of events this might set off. Along with the wickedness revealed in the epstein files they might just need a war elsewhere.
 
Before the 12 day war, Iran threatened Israel every day how they “will wipe Israel off the map.”

It turned out to be all talk. Almost Every single one that threatened Israel was eliminated. That was just Israel.

Imagine what happens when the U.S. and Israel run this round together.

It's so obvious Iran is only stalling for time. The talks just like the last (all of them) come to nothing and then everything sits on thr back burner until the inevitably fuck up again then Isreal and usa are down their throats. Then it'll be oh we want talks! Let's talk about it! It's a frakking circle and I dont know why Trump continues to play in it.
