Trump administration is weighing Iran strike options, and a person familiar with discussions cited two key considerations: the risk that a prolonged conflict could deplete U.S. munitions stockpiles and create an opening for China to act against Taiwan, plus the likelihood of American casualties if the U.S. pursues the most aggressive option.

Thats a huge <its jaw dropping really> number.
Yea I said in discussions thread to @Braver911 it's not something you see everyday yesterday.

The F22 isn't the new news. That's from yesterday. ➡️It's the Patriot system being parked at the airbase housing the F22's in Israel which is new news. At least from what I can tell it's new news.

UPDATE: Iranian source responding to Rubio, rejecting any expectation Iran will negotiate its missile program and calling the demand unrealistic and “Israel’s playbook,” framing it as evidence of US lack of seriousness.

100hrs was the ground war. And the fighting continued for ~3 more days.

The Air war lasted weeks. Almost a month. It started on 17Jan1991 Mostly ended on 28Feb91

The whole thing was 2 days short of 7 months, but most people served at least a year before they departed.
Our air group was done in about 4 days achieving full air superiority in two days. The air war after a week was only 15 hour patrols with very little shooting. My point is we’d reduced Iraq’s ability to shoot to a few slingshots and some spitwads. Im asking what does Iran have to prolong a sustained attack?
