Hezbollah/Israel War in Lebanon | REPORTING & ANALYSIS

UN fault for not leaving South Lebanon when told to do so. Since the beginning Israel has told UN forces, civilians, and anyone else with a brain in Southern Lebanon that a all out war against Hezbollah is occuring. Anyone left behind stays and does so at their own stupid risk. Including the UN. I don't feel bad for UN when they shouldn't be there and have been told to leave the area as well. Whatever has or does happen to them is on them. Again, they been warned to leave.

If the UN goal is to create martyrs out of their own troops, then just skip the charade and join Hezbollah officially/directly.

👉 EXAMPLE: If you're at a rock quarry where your not supposed to be and they yell out 'fire in the hole/sirens' as they are about to do blasting in 5-10 minutes and you stay, ignore the warning, end up getting hurt or dead... not rock quarries fault, that's for damn sure. I think the phrase goes 'stupid gets what stupid does'. Should be the motto for UN really.

🎻
Except that Israel legally has no authority to tell who has the right to be there or not. And it's good that they are there, they can be witness of any war crime (from any sides) and provide help to civilian.

Last I checked Lebanon government itself doesn't have a say or control over what goes on in their southern territory regardless of Israel. So. If terrorist can tell the Lebanon & UN what to do in Southern Lebanon Israel sure as heck can too. And honestly good for Israel finally moving into Southern Lebanon and ending Hezbollah once and for all.

Even better is Lebanon government seems rather for it and has even kicked out Iran ambassador over Hezbollah refusal to disarm/leave South Lebanon and once again dragging its nation unwilling into war.

(and regardless of who is to blame, i shared just to report the action that happened)
People dislike my reports and attack my reports all the time. Comes with reporting. People are going to discuss what you report. You don't have to respond.

They have also had weeks to do so so don't even go there. 🥱

It should be noted I'm not advocating for attacking the United Nation forces of course. Simply laying out that I don't blame Israel nor feel bad for the United Nations forces when they know better not to be in a war zone and have been told weeks ago to leave because it is dangerous. So. Take that as you will.

👉If the United Nations forces missions is to become martyrs by being in the way on purpose in a war zone against terrorists, then like I said, just drop the uniform and join Hezbollah, skip the charade please.
Well. To be fair the war in Bosnia and rest of the Balkans was dangerous too. There are many veterans in my country who've done valiant deeds in the peacekeeping forces, so almost calling UNFIL Hezbollah simply for defying orders to leave when that is pretty much what they should do in a war one unless it's actually the UN body itself ordering it. UN peacekeeping is kind of... there to help in a warzone.

Regardless of what did or did not do Lebanon in the past, and regardless of if Israel's intervention in Lebanon is good or not, Israel has no legitimacy to tell the UN to leave (and no one does, beside maybe the lebanese gov, it's lebanese territory).

Israel doesn't have all power and legitimacy in the area, they are a belligerent like another. It's good to have an UN presence in the area, and they should not be attacked by any side

ABC DETAILS:

The Israel Defense Forces have detained a United Nations peacekeeper in Lebanon "after blocking a logistics convoy," the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon said in a statement Tuesday.

"Following direct and immediate contacts by UNIFIL's Head of Mission & Force Commander and our Liaison Branch, the peacekeeper was released in less than an hour," UNIFL said.

"Any detention of a United Nations peacekeeper is a blatant violation of international law. Any interference with the work of peacekeepers is also a violation of resolution 1701," UNIFIL added.

Netanyahu says US-Iran ceasefire ‘does not include Lebanon’

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office has announced that Israel backs the United States’s decision to suspend strikes against Iran for two weeks, but said the truce “does not include Lebanon”.

Hezbollah called in an official statement "to refrain from returning to southern Lebanon, the Al-Baqaa region and Dahiyya." The statement claimed that the terrorist organization "is on the verge of a great historic victory. Hezbollah wishes to wait with the return to these areas until a final official announcement is made about a ceasefire in Lebanon."
