I am calling this 80% accurate and confirmed. MSN is carrying both the Toyota and Nissan memo story, and I'm finding multiple sources regarding the AutoZone memo. Plus, it does make sense given the current situation in the Middle East. Here are the memos in question:

There is the chance that this could be fake and/or manufactured. However, my wife and I both agree it is prudent to stockpile enough oil ad filters to do our own oil changes for one year. Take this with as much or as little salt as you wish, but I personally think the odds of this being accurate are pretty high.

I suggest people also review this as well. Hopefully people took my advice and did so before the war as I implored prior to hostiles:

If you did. Then you should be sitting pretty comfortably right now and likely road out the worse of the gas/oil shocks so far in confidence.

We're good on our gasoline and propane reserves. I hadn't thought about oil for the cars until now. I always keep a quart or two around just for topping off, but I think I need to add oil to our reserves as well as fuel. Fortunately, both of our cars take the same type.

I heat with wood, LP and electric. Now that the heating season is over the LP will last till the late fall. Now that I am retired, we moved to one vehicle. A dodge ram truck that I only have to change the oil in twice a year so we should be good here.

The auto department employee at Walmart told me about a impending oil shortage last week. I dismissed it as I hadn't read anything about it on the DWS forums. I guess he was right.

I was warning about this... before the war even started:

Needless to say, if you did take my advice & listen to me, you will ride out whatever shortage well, and stocked up while gas was still 2$ a gallon...

(Even though I have taken every step to ensure EXTREME transparency, just want to note I am Nuclear-ID, but that is the business, DarkNoon is the man behind the business.)

How can there be an oil shortage when the US is exporting it? Is this a refinery thing? Not enough of it after years of "The Green New Deal?"

We live in a free market. Nothing to stop US companies from selling to highest bidder globally.

Therefore even US gas station have to pay what other countries are willing to pay. Which during a shortage, as you can see, other countries can out bid US for oil driving the price up.

👉⚠️Short of going communist and or total socialist or total federalization of oil industry you can't stop this. Full stop.

Does not matter at all if we make more oil then anyone else. The companies that make that oil CANNOT be forced to just sell to US, in a free market companies are FREE to sell to whomever globally or whomever is willing to pay the highest price.

Very simple supply and demand economics in a free capitalistic society.

I agree with everything you said above; however, wouldn't it just mean high prices at the pump? Not an actual shortage?

Correct. There won't be a shortage IMHO. Also the supply of oil isn't as crunched as many thought it would be.

Very Important Note:
Prior to the war about 22 million barrels where flowing through the straight a day. Since the war about 10 million barrels of that has been replaced/found new way to leave the Gulf states. So the world is only out about 12 million barrels a days short, not good, but not shortage range. Plus higher prices also slows consumption which helps softly too.

So long as war doesn't start up again there will be no oil shortages. Just high prices until the world can find the other 12 million barrels until then.

It is said that the CCP's strategic oil reserves have been exhausted, relying on the falsified oil reserves have been exposed! For more than a year, due to the interruption of oil supplies from Venezuela and Iran to China, China's oil reserves have been depleted. However, on paper, China still has 1.2 billion tons of oil reserves.
From May 25 to 27, Chinese Premier Li Qiang made an emergency trip to Zhoushan and Ningbo in Zhejiang Province, personally conducting a surprise inspection of the Zhoushan National Oil Reserve Base. The inspection revealed that most of the oil storage facilities were empty or filled with water to falsify data; in reality, the oil reserves had been depleted.
Author Wanjun Xie leads the opposition China Democracy Party; the rumor-style claims ("It is said that") lack independent verification and contrast with official Chinese state media coverage of the event.
Sounds like propaganda to me however, I'm sure the spooks are all over this.
