I've stated this before. What makes me most nervous are the dual capable missile launches. How are you supposed to tell if there is a nuclear warhead on there or not? These launches could be a spark that could start sequence of events that would be catastrophic. IMO That was a very informative report. Thank you.

You can't. That is a major escalation issue.

What will likely happen is that the West will just wait to take one. Unless we are already in a major crisis, they will just hope it is a conventional missile until it isn't.

Russia, on the other hand, may be more trigger-happy.

Not sure trigger happy is the right term. More concerned than others more like it. With excellent reason. Eg. Actually being attacked by weapons supplied by nuclear capable countries.
Those same western nuclear countries are not receiving attacks of the same manner from Russia or anyone else. I can understand their concern of which should also be those of the nuclear capable western countries involved. Regardless of how you cut it, the texture may change, but the flavour remains the same.

I agree with this, what would Washinton, London or Paris do if they had nuclear capable missiles coming at them? Would they wait to absorb the hit on their capital city or fire on warning?

I have to give Isreal credit for taking the ballistic missile strikes from iran without nuking tehran. I wonder how close they actually were to doing that?

How much punishment will a nuclear capable country take before responding with WMD? The world is playing a very dangerous game! IMO
